Join us this National Science Week 2018 for a whacky and wild sleepover at Queensland Museum!
Bring your sleeping bag, pillows and excitement, and get ready to explore the entire Museum including hands-on activities, torchlight tours, pop-up shows and a family trail version of Egyptian Mummies: Exploring Ancient Lives exhibition.
Have some tucker and then wind down with a movie before its lights out. Drift off to dream state amongst Queensland’s furry, spindly, scaly and friendly inhabitants in the Wild State gallery.
On Sunday morning, recharge with breakfast before some serious science fun to get the brain buzzing.
This event is ideal for ages 5–12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are not permitted without a child. Adult to child ratio of 1:3 required for Museum sleepovers.
Dinner and breakfast is provided as part of your ticket. Beer and wine is available for purchase with dinner, and ID will be required.
What to bring:
• All sleeping equipment i.e. sleeping bag, pillows, camping mat• Pyjamas and toiletries (no showers available)• Ear plugs and eye mask (optional extras)• Torch (for the torchlight tours)
What not to bring:Unnecessary valuables, as the Museum is unable to store your personal belongings. Please keep your valuables with you at all times.
